New 840 L tank project

Hi my friends,

It's been a while since my last post here ...after about 2 years I would like to show you some news from my cichlidworld 
As you can see from the subject o f this topic, I'm building a new tank and I will put all the pics coming from this project step-by-step if you like 
I started with the stand which is almost done now and waiting for the tank. It should arrive next week or two. OK, that will be the future, let's see what I'm doing now

Every block row is connected to the wall with a masonry steel joint.

third row of blocks ready. Note the cut-out in the front and back upper blocks. All legs will be connected together and strengthened with U-shaped steel profiles.

the back steel beam placed. I drilled the wall through behind the stand and attached the beam with steel fasteners to the wall. The reason is to distribute the tank weight to the wall not only to the floor. The wall is 16 cm thick concrete wall and I drilled 5 holes.




The wall behind the stand drilled through. You can see the big square steel washers (10 x 10 cm) on the wall supporting the fasteners in place. On the left, there is a kitchen and the washers will be hidden behind the kitchen unit. Only one will be visible but it will be hidden under the wall coat and the screw will be ended by domed cap nut....


the kitchen unit is in place and the only thing you can see in the kitchen is domed cap nut...


Stand is painted white and the OSB board also in place. I have prepared one more wall socket and electrical line. The stand will be covered with a thin white facing when the tank arrives...






Today, I have made the tile floor under the stand...pics coming soon...that's all for now  Hope you like it
